DAILY PROGRAMS: ZIYARAH & REFLECTION

DEC 17 - ARRIVAL IN MEDINA


Arrival: Land at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport (MED), Medina.
Transfer: Private A/C transport to hotel near Masjid al-Nabawi.
Check-In: Settle into accommodations and rest.
Evening: Attend a welcome briefing covering Umrah rituals, local customs, and itinerary overview.
Spiritual Activity: Offer prayers at Masjid al-Nabawi,


DEC 18 - ZIYARAH OF MEDINA


Morning Ziyarah: Visit Jannat al-Baqi cemetery.
Explore Masjid Ghamama and Tour Mahalla Banu Hashim and Masjid Ali.
Afternoon: Free time for personal worship and reflection at Masjid al-Nabawi.


DEC 19 - HISTORIC TOUR OF MEDINA


Full-Day Excursion: Visit Masjid Quba, the first mosque built in Islam.
Tour Masjid al-Qiblatain, known for the change of Qibla.
Explore the Seven Mosques (Sab’ah Masajid) area.
Ascend Mount Uhud and visit the graves of martyrs, including Sayyiduna Hamza  (ع).
View the site of the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq).
Evening: Return to hotel; rest and prepare for the journey to Mecca.​


DEC 20 - JOURNEY TO MECCA & UMRAH


Morning: Check out from Medina hotel.
Afternoon: Stop at Miqat (Dhul Hulayfah) to enter into Ihram.
Travel to Mecca via High-speed Train.
Check into hotel near Masjid al-Haram.
Evening: Perform Umrah rites: Tawaf, Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, Hair trimming, and Tawaf Nisa.


DEC 21 – ZIYARAH OF MECCA


Morning:  Visit Jabal al-Rahmah in Arafat.
Tour Mina and Muzdalifah (sites of Hajj rituals).
Explore Masjid al-Khaif and Jamarat area.
Evening: Free time for personal worship and reflection at Masjid al-Haram.


DEC 22 – SPIRITUAL LANDMARK OF MECCA


Morning: Ascend Jabal al-Noor to see the Cave of Hira.
Visit Jabal al-Thawr, site of the Prophet's (PBUH) refuge during Hijrah.
Afternoon:Explore Masjid al-Jinn and Jannat al-Mu'alla cemetery.
Evening: Participate in a Q&A session addressing Umrah experiences and spiritual growth
Perform Tawaf al-Wada (farewell Tawaf) at Masjid al-Haram.

DEC 24 – DEPARTURES  


Check-Out: Depart hotel and transfer to King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) in Jeddah for return flight.

DEC 24 – ARRIVAL IN NAJAF

Arrival: Land at Baghdad International Airport and meet your Ahlulbayt Travels representative.
Transfer: Travel via private coach to Najaf, the city of knowledge and light.
Check-In: Settle into hotel accommodations near the Haram of Imam Ali (ع).
Evening Orientation: Group welcome briefing with overview of the Ziyarah experience, group etiquette, and reflections.
Spiritual Activity: Visit the shrine of Imam Ali (ع). 

DEC 25 – SPIRITUAL LANDMARK OF NAJAF

Morning: Visit Wadi-us-Salaam, the world’s largest cemetery.

Afternoon: Continue to Masjid Kufa, where Imam Ali (ع) led prayers and was ultimately struck.

Ziyarahs Include:

Muslim Ibn Aqeel (AS) – cousin of Imam Hussain (ع) and his ambassador to Kufa

Mukhtar al-Thaqafi (AS) – the revolutionary who avenged Karbala

Hani Ibn Urwah (ع) – loyal supporter of Muslim Ibn Aqeel

House of Imam Ali (ع) – preserved home of the Commander of the Faithful

Hazrat Mesum Tammar (ع) – close companion of Imam Ali (ع)

Evening: Return to Najaf for dinner and personal reflection.

DEC 26 – HISTORIC MOSQUES OF NAJAF

Morning Ziyarah: Masjid Hannana – believed to have tilted in grief during the funeral procession of Imam Husayn (ع)

Masjid Kumail (ع) – associated with the heartfelt Dua Kumayl

Masjid Sahla – one of the holiest mosques, linked to the awaited reappearance of Imam Mahdi (عج)

Evening: Rest and spiritual preparation for the journey to Karbala.

DEC 27 – JOURNEY TO KARBALA

Transfer: Depart Najaf and journey toward Karbala.
Check-In: Arrive at hotel near the shrines of the Ahlulbayt (ع) in Karbala.
Evening Ziyarah: Visit the blessed shrine of Imam Husayn (ع) and  Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (ع) .
Spiritual Time: Pray in the courtyards and reflect on the eternal legacy of Karbala.

DEC 28 – SPIRITUAL LANDMARK OF KARBALA

Morning Ziyarah: Khaymaga Hussaini (ع) – site of the tents of the Ahlulbayt on the Day of Ashura

Tila-e-Zainabiya (س) – the elevated point where Lady Zainab (س) witnessed the battlefield

Muqam-e-Ali Akbar (ع) – site of the brave martyrdom of the son of Imam Hussain (ع)

Muqam-e-Ali Asghar (ع) – place of the infant martyr’s sacrifice

Muqam-e-Imam Zamana (عج) – associated with the hidden Imam

Muqam of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (AS)

Muqam-e-Al Qama

Evening: Free time for individual Ziyarah or group reflection.

DEC 29 – FULL-DAY EXCURSION TO KHADIMIYA & SAMARRA

Morning Departure: Spiritual road trip to: Kadhimiya and Samarra 

Kadhimiya Ziyarahs:

Imam Musa al-Kazim (ع) – the 7th Imam, known for his unmatched patience and devotion

Imam Muhammad al-Taqi (ع) – the 9th Imam, remembered for his vast knowledge from a young age

Samarra Ziyarahs:

Imam Ali al-Hadi (ع) – the 10th Imam, known as the model of humility and wisdom

Imam Hasan al-Askari (ع) – the 11th Imam, whose life was marked by secrecy and strength

Sardab (The Sacred Cellar) – the place associated with the occultation of Imam al-Mahdi (عج)

Evening Return: Head back to Karbala after a powerful day of connection to the legacy of the Imams.

DEC 30 – COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & FINAL ZIYARAHS

Morning Visits:Orphanage Outreach: Engage in a meaningful community visit to support local children and reflect on givingZiyarah at:

Hazrat Hur (ع) – the general who joined Imam Hussain’s side on Ashura

Tiflan-e-Muslim (ع) – young sons of Muslim Ibn Aqeel (AS), martyred in cold blood

Evening: Final reflections, group dua, and spiritual closure before departure.

DEC 31 – DEPARTURES FROM KARBALA

Check-Out: Depart from your hotel in Karbala.
Transfer: Private transport to Baghdad International Airport for return flights.
Farewell: Leave Iraq spiritually transformed, carrying the light of the Ahlulbayt (ع) in your heart.
